Who We Serve
KEEN stands for the Kids Environmental Education Network. Through three groundbreaking projects, the KEEN Group has brought environmental education, healthy activities and the arts to deserving low-income youth. We serve low-income youth who have never experienced the outdoors and may have development delays, health challenges and socioeconomic challenges that minimize their access to a healthy lifestyle.
The population we serve includes:
African-American and Hispanic youth between the ages of 8 and 16 living in households 80% below the poverty level.
